Starting today, I will be posting a series of posts on “Sometimes.” There will hopefully be three posts! Anywho, here goes!
Sometimes it’s all right to skip church to have breakfast with friends.
You say.
Sometimes it’s all right to ignore the older lady across the street that needs help with her groceries.
You think.
Sometimes it’s all right to get to work late.
You tell yourself.
Sometimes it’s all right to skip school to talk to your friends.
You decide to do what you want.
Maybe you tell yourself this or another lie.
But is it really “all right”?
Sometime later, you realize you missed the next church service and the next, and the next.
Sometime later, you realize the older lady across the street isn’t there.
Sometime later, you realize you’re being fired.
Sometime later, you realize you’re being expelled.
Sometime later, you realize that you shouldn’t have followed everyone else, maybe before you make a mistake you can’t fix, or perhaps after.
Don’t live your life based on Β “all right”! Base your life off, βIs it right?”
Lovely post! π I definitely agree … we should base our lives off “right.”

Well, I guess I somehow have a nonfiction blog. Huh, how’d that happen?

Hello, Kaylee! I just discovered your blog, and it’s awesome! π– I really like this post. It’s so true! Just because we don’t want to do something that doesn’t mean it’s right for us to actually not do it. God wants us to do what is right and we need to obey Him. Despite what we think, doing the right thing will please God. π Keep up the awesome work, girl!! π
